The Limbic system:
● The limbic system includes the
hippocampus, amygdala and

● The left amygdala is responsible for

● The right amygdala is responsible for
aggression. (right = fight)
● It has the role of self preservation,
including the response to emotions and
the fight or flight response.
● It kicks into action particularly when we are faced with danger.
