TMS = Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
Niet-invasive hersen stimulatie. Therapeutisch (hersenstimulatie) en onderzoeksmiddel.




Stimulatie: (TDCS/TACS)
Stroom door de hersenen, meeste natuurlijk door de huid want dat heeft de minste weerstand.
Zelfs toepasbaar bij kinderen. Werking nog niet helemaal vastgesteld. Niet veel te verwachten
omdat de meeste stroom door de huid gaat.




TMS
Maakt gebruik van elektrisch magnetische inductie. Buitenkant snel fluctuerend elektrische
stroom waar door elektrisch veld ontstaat buiten het hoofd en ook een deel van het hoofd en
dus ook de hersenen. Door het elektrisch veld ontstaat inductie. Om de spoel heen ontstaat een
elektrisch veld, in de tweede spoel loopt de stroom in tegengestelde richting door het
elektrisch magnetisch veld. Tijdconstante van eerste afgeleide ontstaat inductie. Vorm van
