Tell us about yourself - CORRECT ANSWER-My name is Grace Perlichek. I am a sociology senior
student at the University of Texas at Austin with a forensic science certificate. My current job
position is an Employer Relations and Recruitment Intern, a fast-paced job that requires
multitasking, and expert and professional communication and writing skills. I have completed
internships with Lone Star Justice Alliance, a restorative justice program, and UT Austin during
my undergraduate career. I have conducted undergraduate research with the Moody Disorders
Lab to better understand treatment methods for depression.



I am very interested in working as a Criminal Investigator for ATF. I have a passion for making a
difference in the law enforcement realm. I believe that I can bring a lot to this position,
including a new perspective and more diversity to the agency.



why do you want to work for us? - CORRECT ANSWER-In my undergraduate studies, I have
come to realize the many issues in law enforcement today - including a lack of diversity, a lack of
trust with the general public, and high recidivism rates of offenders. I am passionate about
improving public relations with law enforcement and reducing recidivism. This position will
allow me to get in the thick of things and have up-close contact with both offenders and the
public. I know I can bring a lot to this agency because of this drive.
