This examination consists of 30 scored multiple-choice questions aligned with the Pennsylvania
Psychology Practice Act (63 P.S. §1101 et seq.), Pennsylvania Code Title 49 Chapter 41, and Pennsylvania
State Board of Psychology policy guidelines. Questions cover critical domains including the Practice Act
provisions, licensure and credentialing, supervision standards, patient care management and
documentation, consumer protection and ethics, disciplinary processes, multistate practice considerations,
and business operations compliance.
Each question has four answer options (A, B, C, D). Select the single best answer for each question. Some
questions are scenario-based and require application of Pennsylvania psychology law principles to
professional practice decision-making. Read each question carefully before selecting your answer.
You have 60 minutes to complete this examination. A passing score of 75% (scaled) is required, which
corresponds to approximately 23 out of 30 correct answers. The exam is administered via computer-based
testing at Pearson VUE testing centers or through OnVUE online proctoring.
Mark your answers clearly. If you change an answer, ensure your final selection is unambiguous. No
additional points are deducted for incorrect answers, so you should attempt every question. The exam fee of
$225 is payable at the time of registration.
