A Summary of this scenario is as follows. Officer Jones was approached by a Female who verbally filed a complaint that she had just been robbed and beaten at gunpoint. She provided a basic description of the perpetrators height and attire and stated she could not determine gender or race. After calling it in and waiting for medical and backup to arrive. Officer Jones Approached a man about a block away fitting the provided description. As he approached the man refused to keep his hand where the officer can see them and attempted to pull out something from his front pocket. It is at this time where Officer Jones shot the man in the shoulder and found some baggies of drugs on him.
