A1. Ethical Traits
When I started my career, my first manager, Jeff, taught me what it means to be a leader
and an ethical person I respect dearly. Jeff is highly respected within the organization and
industry and has had tremendous success throughout the manufacturing industry. Ethical traits
Jeff demonstrates are integrity and accountability. He demonstrates integrity through his honesty
and his behavior. His decisions are based on a commitment to honesty, doing what is correct, and
following the company's policies and procedures. When he makes a mistake in any decision he
has made, he takes full accountability for his actions and decisions. He has never pointed blame
on others, and if there was a miscommunication in his instructions, he apologized to the staff for
the error.
A2. Ethical Conduct
Jeff demonstrates his ethical conduct by adhering to the policies and procedures of the
organization and being consistent with his decisions. He keeps his decision the same regardless
of whether the question is from the company's CEO or a quality technician. He will adjust his
delivery to accommodate the audience; however, he stands by his decisions. Jeff is a very
consistent person. He does not allow his quandaries to interfere with his professional career or
take his frustrations out on others. He treats everyone fairly and gives his honest opinion when
requested or when the situation requires an honest interpretation of data when making critical
business decisions.
