AREA INVESTIGATED:
My study area is located in the corner of my bedroom in a shared apartment in Parkhurst,
Johannesburg. It is not a dedicated home office, but rather a multi-purpose space. I use a small
bedside table as my desk, which is pushed against the wall. There is a single window to my left,
which lets in a lot of natural light during the day. The room is shared, so privacy is limited, and the
space feels cramped. I have a standard office chair that was provided with the apartment, and I use a
gaming laptop for both my university work and my online retail job. The flooring is laminate, and
the room can get quite warm in the afternoons because the window faces north.
