Hey, everyone!
Thank you so very much for purchasing my study guide on ABG interpretation.
I'm so excited to share this study resource with you because I know this topic is something that many students dread studying.
ABG interpretation requires the ability to analyze lab values, as well as the understanding of how acid-base imbalances work,
which can be overwhelming at times.
I've tried my best to break down this material in a way so that you can easily digest and remember it. This is why I've included
fun mnemonics, worksheets, and practice problems to help you retain the material you'll learn.
The key to understanding this topic is to use a method that helps simplify solving ABG problems, such as the R.O.M.E. or Tic-
Tac-Toe method. Both of these methods are great and actually make solving blood gas problems fun. My personal favorite is
the Tic-Tac-Toe method, but some people prefer R.O.M.E. I'll show you how I use both methods in this guide.
Again, thank you for purchasing this ABG study guide! On those hard days when you feel like giving up, just remember that I
have felt the same way, too. However, I truly believe that you're going to do great. You are smart enough, and you are going
to be an awesome nurse one day! Hang in there, and never give up on your dreams!
So, let's get started...
