The molecular formula C4H10 only shows you the number of each
atom, but not how they’re actually connected.
The Condensed Structural Formula CH3CH2CH2CH3 this shows the
grouping of atoms
The 2D structural formula (lewis structure) shows all atoms as well as
bonds which is good for connectivity, but bad for 3D shape.
The 3D drawing/Wedge-dash best shows the 3D, tetrahedral geometry
around carbon atoms.
