Separation Anxiety Disorder (SAD) - ANSWER-A disorder in which an older child
has consistent feelings of anxiety when separated from parent or caregiver.
Developmentally normal before 3 years old, but when it continues on it
becomes SAD
Modifications - ANSWER-Changes to the curriculum that allow a student to
access material at their level (Changes WHAT they are learning)
Culturally Responsive Teaching - ANSWER-An approach that recognizes the
importance of including all students' cultures in all aspects of learning.
Emotional Disturbance / Disability - ANSWER-A mental illness that impacts their
behavior and ability to function in the classroom (anxiety, bipolar, depression,
