VEM1 Task 3
Talent Management Plan
A) Employee Engagement and Career Development
A1) Career Advancement through Training
Training and development programs will provide floor agents with the skills and knowledge
required to excel in their current roles and prepare for upward mobility within the
organization. This could include sales techniques, customer relationship management, and
product knowledge courses, all tailored to align with the organization's standards and
expectations.
A2) Identification for Succession Planning
The training program should include leadership development modules designed to identify and
nurture potential management candidates from among the floor agents. By monitoring
performance during training sessions, the organization can spot individuals displaying traits
suitable for leadership roles, such as client sales manager or store manager.
A3) Mapping Career Paths
Provide clear career pathways that floor agents can follow. This will involve structured training
programs that outline the skills and experiences needed to progress to higher roles such as supply
chain manager or project manager. Each path should have defined milestones and the training
necessary to reach each one, empowering employees to take charge of their career progression.
B) Communication During Training
B1) Impact of Trainer Communication
Effective communication from trainers is vital to ensure clear understanding and retention of
information. This involves both verbal instructions and nonverbal cues. Training should include
delivering constructive feedback and handling conflicts sensitively and effectively, using role-
playing and other interactive methods to enhance learning.
B2. Building Trust through Communication
Trust is fundamental to any successful training program. Establishing an open and honest
communication channel between trainers and trainees will encourage a more engaging and
supportive learning environment. This trust facilitates better knowledge transfer, more honest
feedback, and greater commitment to learning.
C) Inclusivity in Training Programs
