This is an Open Book exam. You will be permitted to use the following materials in
completing this examination:
- Prescribed Textbook
- Assignments 01, 02 & 03 with comments
- Official ENG3702 Course Material available on the myModules site, DISCORD
server and WhatsApp conversations related to AI and CDA, as well as slides
and notes from the Online Classes.
Remember to acknowledge your sources and cite any material you use in your
reference list and in your essay
Note: Read the questions carefully. Do not rush to answer the questions. You have 4
hours to complete the examination question paper. Spend 2-3 hours answering the
questions and the last hour going through your work and uploading your answers. Check
your timetable for the official cut-off time.
Important: If you use additional resources in your examination answers, remember to cite
them correctly both in your essay and in the reference list at the end of your essay. If you do
not cite your sources, you will be guilty of plagiarism, which constitutes cheating in this
examination.
The work presented in this examination MUST BE YOUR OWN WORK. If you copy from
another source without acknowledging the source in your work, you will fail this module and
could face disciplinary action and risk suspension from the university. Any examination
answer that is found to be entirely generated by AI will be FAILED.
If you do use AI to assist you in refining your essay, indicate the changes / suggestions

The examination question paper is divided into TWO Sections, Section A (95 marks),
and Section B (5 marks) for a total of 100 marks.

Section A – Essay (1800-2000 words).
Section B – Self-reflective paragraph (700-750 words)
