initiate iv and admin large vol of saline sol (for hypotension, f/e imbalance, hypoglycemia)

how can Addisonian crisis be prevented
slowly taper off steroids, steroid dose may need to be increased during times of stress or during
surgery, removing organs = replace hormones (life-long hormone replacement)
Cushing’s syndrome
excessive amounts of steroids, chronic overexposure to corticosteroids (d2 pituitary tumor,
admin of corticosteroids)
