- Tx: azith 1 gm po x1 OR doxycycline 100 mg po BID x7 days

*no doxycycline in pregnancy

*doxycycline is broad spectrum, photosensitivity

- SE: n/v/d, anorexia, better absorption/less SE with food

-education: all partners in past 60 days, evaluation and
presumptive treatment, counseling, no sex for 7 days, return for
rescreening 3 months after treatment

*pregnant patients OR alternative treatment given should be
retested after 3-4 weeks for TEST OF CURE
