then q 2 weeks for 6 months, then monthly if normal. Monitor
weight, BMI, waist circumference, lipids, glucose. Assess for FH or
personal hx CVD.
Recommended cut-points for d/c clozapine are WBC 2000 to
3000 or granulocytes of 1000-1500 for agranulocytosis and
severely compromised immune system.
WBC 3000-3500 - mild leukopenia
Clozapine monitoring
ANC 1500-2000 - mild agranulocytopenia
Monitor CBC with diff 2x weekly
WBC 2000-3000 - mod leukopenia
ANC 1000-1500 - mod agranulocytopenia
Interrupt therapy & daily CBC's
WBC <2000 - severe leukopenia
ANC <1000 - severe agranulocytopenia
Stop tx and do not rechallenge
