Are Stricter CSR Policies the Way Forward?

Case study on Burberry

, I included in the following pages a great example of a passing 1000 words Professional Writing
assignment.

However, I intend not only to SHOW YOU, but also to TEACH YOU how to pass.

Whenever I have do write a paper like this, I use the next EASY formula:

Part 1) INTRODUCTION: Here you want to stretch your idea to 200-300 words. You will include a
definition of what u want to talk about. You will include 2-3 of your future arguments or the
opposing arguments, very brief. And finally, you will add a confusing statement to GENERATE HOPE.

Part 2) A-R-E --- Assertion – Reason – Evidence. Very simple. Include 3 arguments worth 150 words.
First you can start with: “Some people say…/Some people argue…” After u end that sentence you
put comma or full stop and write: “Although this can happen…” you defend your case. You say the
truth is opposite to this opinion. Finally, in the Evidence part you just come up with enough
arguments (2-3) against the Assertion.

Here is an example:

Some argue that CSR measures that are taken only for the purpose of saving face or maintaining one’s honour
as they pretend not to acknowledge the negative impact of their business model. Example can be Nestle trying
to hide their Cocoa operations supply chain issues in Africa by implementing certain programs that they
promote are of high value and importance (International Trade Union Confederation, 2016). Although,
Burberry was involved in questionable activities that take place in the fashion industry, they were amongst first
companies to ban the use of real fur and other exotic animal skins (PETA, 2020). Next, Burberry was ranked 1st
company in 2018 in the Dow Jones Fashion Sustainability Index (Petter, 2018)

After the purple part u can continue to add more arguments to back-up your claim. You can even
talk about other things, but in this scenario, I talk about CSR policies.

Part 3) Finally, write a conclusion worth 200-250 words and you are done. You can start like” To
conclude it can be certain that…. (What u just refuted). After u write 3 more short sentences
summarizing your argument points. And finally give an ending statement with regards to the topic.
