Introduction Conflict can happen on many different levels between all types of groups, however, conflict in the workplace can cause a lot of stress on everyone involved. How that conflict is resolved is what’s important. This year one of biggest conflicts occurred between General Motors and the United Auto Workers, when the workers decided to go on strike because they didn’t agree with what General Motors was giving them. The United Auto Workers union is leading its first strike against General Motors Co. in 12 years, digging in for a fight over jobs and benefits that could cost the carmaker dearly for an indefinite period (UAW Strike, 2019). It’s important for both sides to know what is important to them, remain ethical, and to try and come to a resolution in a timely manner.
