31. What is a barber pole and who can use one at their business?
A barber pole is an unfair business practice for any person, firm, or corporation
who engages in a practice regulated under this chapter to use the traditional
symbol. This which comprises a striped vertical ball on top, with the intent to
mislead the public in any manner that would make the public believe that
barbering was being practiced in, or that a licensed barber in employed in, an
establishment that does not employ licensed barbers.(Article 7349.1)
32. What are the requirements of adequate facilities including the toilet room?
The requirements of adequate facilities is at \least one establishment shall
provide at least one public toilet room near or on the premises, the room shall be
kept in a clean condition and in good repair, effectively screened against insects
and free from rodents, the floor shall be concrete/tile or brick, and the toilet shall
not be less than 18 square feet if it the toilet room was installed after July 1,1992.
