, Task Write an essay with the title ‘Regulation of Body Fluids’

Your essay must include;
I. An overview of why it is important for the body to regulate body
fluids and maintain fluid balance. You must consider electrolyte
functions and how electrolyte balances are maintained.
II. You must include photographs and a brief discussion of practical
investigations into osmosis and diffusion. You must link this to how
fluid moves between compartments in the body. All other results,
tables, and photos should appear in the appendix.
III. An overview of how the kidney functions and a description of the
main sites of reabsorption in the kidney and how reabsorption
occurs in each of the main sites. Include photographs of the kidney
dissection identifying the main sites of absorption.
IV. An explanation of how the body maintains the correct acid base
balance
V. Please include referenced diagrams to illustrate your points. When
using diagrams, they should be numbered a fig 1, fig 2 etc. you
should refer to diagrams in the text.
