What documents must you have with you to fly the airplane? - ANS Pilot certificate, medical
certificate, and government issued photo ID (61.3)
Eligibility Requirements For a Private Pilot - ANS FAR 61.103
At Least 17 Years of Age
Read write and speak English
Hold a US student Pilot Cert
Hold at least a third class medical
Receive and long ground and flight training along with proper endorsements
Pass the required knowledge test (PAR)

40 hrs of total time
20 hours of authorized instructor time
3 hours simulated instriment, 3 hours XC
3 hours Night (100NM 10TOLS full stop)
3 hours practice prep
10 hours solo
5 hours XC (One 150nm xc 3 different legs 1 leg >50nm full stop landings)
3 TOLs to full stop at a towered airport
Privileges and Limitations - ANS FAR (61.113)(91.146)
Privileges - Act as PIC and carry passengers - conduct search and rescue operations; fly for
charitable, non-profit, or community event; act as an aircraft salesman if you have at least 200
hours, may act as PIC towing a glider
Limitations - Cannot fly for hire; must pay no less than pro rata share

What are the currency requirements for carrying passengers? - ANS FAR(61.57)
3 take offs and landings within the preceding 90 days in an aircraft of the same category, class
and type if required. At night, these 3 landings must be made to a full stop
Night definition? When can you perform required night landings? - ANS FAR(61.57)
Night = the time between evening civil twilight and morning civil twilight
Night landings can be logged 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise.

Endorsements - ANS FAR(61.31) (EFIG) Everything-Complex, Fast-High Performance, I-Tail
wheel, Gas-pressurized cabin
Complex: retractable landing gear, flaps, controllable pitch prop
High performance: above 200hp
Tail wheel
Pressurized cabin: service ceiling or max operating altitude above 25000
All endorsements require:
Receive and log both ground and flight training by an authorized instructor in the same aircraft
Airworthiness Requirements - ANS
What documents should be in the aircraft before flight? - ANS ARROW (91.203)
Airworthiness Certificate - does not expire as long as the aircraft meets its approved type
