1. Depletion of Natural Resources
o Climate change leads to the overuse and degradation of
essential natural resources such as water, fertile soil, and

availability and quality of these resources. For example,
rivers and lakes may dry up, while soil fertility declines,
making it harder for communities to sustain agriculture

2. Threat to Food Security
o Changes in rainfall patterns, increased temperatures, and
frequent extreme weather events negatively impact
agricultural production. Crops may fail due to droughts or
floods, and livestock may suffer from heat stress or lack
of water and feed. This reduces food availability,
increases food prices, and heightens the risk of hunger

3. Increased Health Risks
o Climate change contributes to the spread and intensity of
