1. What brings you here today?
My heart’s been racing and pounding for the past few days, and it’s freaking
me out.
2. Can you describe the palpitations?
It feels like my heart is beating really fast or skipping beats. Sometimes it
feels like a flutter in my chest.
3. When did the palpitations start?
About three days ago. It started suddenly while I was studying.
4. How often do they occur?
A few times a day, lasting a few minutes each time.
5. How long do the episodes last?
Usually 2–5 minutes, then it slows down on its own.
6. How severe are the palpitations on a scale of 1–10?
Maybe a 4 or 5. It’s more scary than painful.
