1) Write a few sentences describing how you take notes in TMA111
I take notes using keywords that catch my eye. I use this technique, whilst listening as
well as reading. It seemed to be the most effective for me. I store my notes in a pad, and
do not really have a sorting system, except, the order in which the notes are made.

2) Produce a 30-second MP3 audio file in Audacity
Your digital reputation can affect your friendships, relationships and even your job
prospects for the rest of your life, so it’s important to be careful about how you are seen

Ultimately, a good online reputation may open doors to new career opportunities, can help
you build relationships and create networks, and could also make you money.
3) I. Identify two entities in table 1 for which information can be stored:
Ships: The name of the ship upon which the cruise is hosted is an important entity and
information for a cruise company.
Surname: The name of the customer who has booked a place upon a cruise is an important
entity, because they’re filling the places on the cruise, as well as providing the profit for the
company.
3) ii. Create an entity table for each of these entities:

I didn’t really add any, but I did place each person into a single column – whilst this had
the benefit of placing each entity under each person, it makes it somewhat difficult to
read – I also changed the forename and surname rows/columns? In the table into a single
Name entity. I found this to be a lot easier to work with.
I would have preferred that the ship entity was more adaptive, to the data, as I couldn’t
add all the information in a way that I wanted to. But I did find it easier – at least for
myself – to add and read the data in this way. So I hope that this is a correct way of
answering the question.
