The TDSHS Asbestos Inspector role involves assessing and ensuring the safe management of asbestos in
workplaces, in compliance with regulations set by the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health
Services (DOSHS) in Kenya. Inspectors are responsible for conducting risk assessments, monitoring
compliance with safety standards, and maintaining records related to asbestos hazards. To become
certified, candidates typically need relevant educational qualifications, specialized training in asbestos
inspection, and approval from DOSHS.
