major depression - A period of depression. Decrease in interest or behaviour. Last at least 2
weeks. No more pleasure
Mood Disorder Due to a General Medical Condition - Cancer, injuries, diseases may trigger
symptoms of depression.
OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) - an anxiety disorder characterized by unwanted
repetitive thoughts and/or actions
Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia) - Depressed or irritable mood for at least 1 year.
Pica - scream teens eatting cotton. eatting stuff thats not normal.
PTSD - an anxiety disorder characterized by haunting memories, nightmares, social withdrawal,
jumpy anxiety, and/or insomnia that lingers for four weeks or more after a traumatic experience
Schizophrenia, - a group of severe disorders characterized by disorganized and delusional
thinking disturbed perceptions, and inappropriate emotions and actions. They have delusions,
hallucinations, social withdrawal, lack of motivation.
seasonal affective disorder - seasonal depression happens around winter most of the time.
