Keeping balance in ecosystems
● There must be a balance allowing survival over an extended period of time
Water cycle
● Water is essential requirement for growth, major component of cells in ALL living
organisms

● ***Evaporation: water turns from liquid to vapour, into atmosphere from ANY water
bodies/surfaces
● ***Transpiration: loss of water from plants through stomata (mostly) (on leaves’
surface)
● ***Condensation: water turns from vapour (from atmosphere) to liquid → may lead to
formation of clouds/fog/frost
● ***Precipitation: vapour held in clouds falls as rain/snow

● Carbon is most abundant element on Earth
