Nursing Exam Guidelines and examsoft Instructions
By logging into your exam, you are agreeing to the confidentiality statement listed below:
“I understand that the content of this examination is confidential. I agree that I will not divulge
any questions on this examination to any individual or entity. I understand that the
unauthorized possession, reproduction, or disclosure of any examination materials, including
the nature or content of examination questions, before, during, or after the examination is a
violation of professional ethics. A violation of this type may result in dismissal from The
Victoria College VN/ADN Program.”
Testing Compliance:
Students who have received Coordinator approval to test from home for reasons related to COVID-19
need to follow these nursing exam guidelines. Since you are unable to meet on campus, here is pertinent
information that you must read prior to taking the Exam. Additional security measures need to be
implemented to maintain test integrity. You will need to webex with a live faculty proctor through your
cellphone and the proctor will provide additional instructions. To ensure test integrity, you must comply
with all examsoft instructions, specifically the 360 degree scan of room and desk area including both sides
of the blank sheet of scratch paper. Looking away from the computer screen, or failure to position the
computer directly in front of you at all times during testing may be concluded as academic dishonesty.
Additionally, if an examsoft proctor stops your test and you fail to comply with their requests, this can be
deemed as academic dishonesty. Any student who violates the Victoria College Academic Code of
Conduct and/or the Nursing Programs Student Handbook policies may receive a grade of zero for the
Exam and could be withdrawn from the Program.
