actors, brands, predictable use of genre conventions, good narrative and plot,
representations of groups, discussions of contentious issues.
What are the different critical debates? - Cinema in the digital age, inclusivity and
diversity of representation, the function of the franchise, blockbusters vs independent
cinema, cinema for a global marketplace, certification
What are conventions of a blockbuster? - Accessible to global audiences, good versus
