2.1 Adults learn differently form children. Explain adult learning in your own words. According to what I understand adults do not learn the same way as children. When grown- ups learn, they like to make their own choices. They want to learn things that help them in real life, like in their jobs or families. Adults also use their life experiences to help them understand new things better. Malcolm Knowles said teaching adults is different. He said adults like to learn when they feel they need to. They don’t just learn for fun like children do. Adults also like to learn by solving problems. And they feel happy to learn when it helps them in their lives. This way of learning is called andragogy. Even if not everyone agrees, many teachers now try to teach adults in ways that work better for them.
