Agency Dispatch - ANS The agency or jurisdictional facility from which resources are sent to
incidents.
Agency Representative - ANS A person assigned by a primary, assisting, or cooperating
Federal, State, tribal, or local government agency, or nongovernmental or private organization,
that has been delegated authority to make decisions affecting that agency's or
organization's participation in incident management activities following appropriate
consultation with the leadership of that agency.

Available Resources - ANS Resources assigned to an incident, checked in, and available for a
mission assignment, normally located in a Staging Area.
Badging - ANS The assignment of physical incident-specific credentials to establish legitimacy
and limit access to various incident sites.
Branch - ANS The organizational level having functional or geographical responsibility for
