10.1 Initiation - ANSWERS-Planning phase of the process
Purpose: determine how risk mgmt will be carried out on the project (process tailored to suit
project requirements).
Determine what the focus of the project is: time-sensitive or quality driven, ensure those risks
are given highest consideration.

- What techniques will we use?

10.1 Identification - ANSWERS-Identify risks that may impact on project objectives.
Techniques:
- brainstorm: quickly capture lots of risks with project team and SME's
- promp lists
- interviews
- nominal group technique,
- delphi technique: group of experts can generate possible risks, can be done remotely
- technology readiness levels.
