i. A need I wish to address with this curriculum is that students are expected to

answer challenging questions based on text and revisit third-grade level

reading passages. However, some of my students are reading at a first-grade

level, making it difficult for them to locate specific answers in the text without

frequent teacher guidance. Students will often struggle with emotional

, regulation because they feel unable to do it by themselves. This lack of

emotional regulation can impact their ability to focus, stay engaged, and

complete assignments on their own.
