- Recommending or administering some meds
- Teaching
- Using isolation techniques
- Using some types of equipment (e.g. lifts, slings)

What are restricted activities? - ANSWER - clinical activities that present a
significant harm to the public and are therefore reserved for specific health
professional only. The regulation assigns specific restricted activities to RNs.

- E.g. RN may not carry out an endotracheal intubation

What is under section 6? - ANSWER - Section 6 of the regulation
- RNs do not require an order from another health professional.

o However, required to adhere to standards, limits, and conditions set by BCCNP

What is under section 7? - ANSWER - Activities that may be carried out in the
