Zytologie
Die Zelle ist der Grundbaustein des menschlichen Körpers sowie aller Tiere und Pflanzen.
Man unterscheidet zwei Arten von Zellen.

 Prokaryote Zellen  ohne Zellkern (Nucleus)
 Eukaryote Zellen  mit Zellkern (Nucleus)

Außer Bakterien sind alle tierischen und pflanzlichen Organismen Eukaryoten.

Zellen sind die kleinsten Bau- und Funktionseinheiten des Organismus. Sie können Stoffe
aufnehmen, umbauen und wieder freisetzen (Stoffwechsel = Metabolismus).

Grundbauplan einer eukaryoten Zelle
Für alle eukaryoten Zellen gibt es einen Grundbauplan.

 Zellmembran (Plasmalemm)
 Zellleib (Zytoplasma)
 Zellkern (Nucleus)

Grundeigenschaften von Zellen
Obwohl wenn die Zellen sehr unterschiedliche Aufgaben haben, haben sie alle gemeinsame
Grundeigenschaften.

 Stoffwechsel und Energiegewinnung  durch regelmäßige Nahrungsaufnahme
 Vermehrung und begrenzte Lebensdauer  vermehrung durch Teilung (Regeneration)
 Reizaufnahme und Reizbeantwortung  durch spezifische Zelloberflächenstrukturen

Spezifische Eigenschaften
Zusätzlich zu den Grundeigenschaften besitzen einige Zellen spezifische Eigenschaften.

 Sich Bewegen
 Stoffe aufnehmen oder abgeben
 Besondere Oberfläche mit besonderen Funktionen ausbilden
