Minors in Restricted Areas - Answer✔The liquor control board has the responsibility to classify
what licensed premises or what portions of the licensed premises are off-limits to minors. If
your establishment has an age restricted area (such as a classified tavern or cocktail lounge), no
one under 21 years of age is allowed to frequent that area, 24 hours a day.

Exceptions: Employees 18 - 20 years old are allowed to enter areas restricted to minors only in
order to perform their job duties such as picking up liquor for service in other parts of the
establishment; cleaning up, setting up, and arranging tables; delivering messages; serving food;
and seating patrons. Minor employees may not loiter in restricted areas.
Minors who are janitors, employees of amusement device companies, security or law
enforcement officers and firefighters during their official duties and professional musicians are
also allowed in areas restricted to minors during the course of employment.

Hours of Alcohol Sales and Service - Answer✔Alcohol may NOT be sold or served in the state of

Hours of Operation - Answer✔Hours of operation are also regulated for an establishment with
a spirits, beer, and wine restaurant license. A restaurant with this type of license must provide
