The Scramble for Africa, which took place in the late 19th century, had
far-reaching implications for the economic and social development of

European powers, had a profound impact on the continent's economic
and social structures, leading to widespread poverty, inequality, and
underdevelopment.

One of the most significant economic implications of colonialism was

diamonds, and other precious minerals, without investing in the
