, Ex of danger of a single story: Instead of this prompt I would actually like to
write about my personal experience with arab+muslim groups. I grew up in va
and had a very limited knowledge of Arabs and Muslims. I believed that they
were sexist terrorist groups of people who abused women, I was only exposed
to this kind of media about them. When I moved to the middle east I was
stuck hard with the truth that they were just as any other group of people
were, generally wanting peace and not harmful as I had thought.
