A. Write a workforce planning summary by doing the following:

A1. Using the information in the “Organizational Memo on Proposed Hiring Plan”

supporting document, recommend one approach to successfully address the labor shortage

and meet the CEO’s request, considering the organization’s need to hire more computer

programmers and senior programmers.

To effectively address the labor shortage and fulfill the CEO’s mandate of hiring 10

senior programmers, transitioning to remote work is an ideal solution. By shifting the senior

programmer position to a remote role, the hiring pool can be significantly widened. This strategic

move not only broadens our candidate reach but also resonates with the expressed desire of

current employees for remote work opportunities.

Additionally, remote work isn't confined to a single physical location; rather, it is a

distributed workforce where employees can perform their duties from various locations, even

internationally. A transition to remote work would allow Pruhart Tech to open the door to talent

from places all around the entire world, allowing us to tap into a larger diverse pool of qualified

candidates from all sorts of backgrounds. This approach aligns with modern workforce trends,

where flexibility and work-life balance are very important considerations for top talent and

highly qualified candidates.

In other words, introducing remote work would effectively address Pruhart Tech's labor

shortage and fulfill the CEO's request.
