**Intro music** - answer**carrying a surfboard**
Hey, Mr. Rocky!
RANGER: Hello Sandy! How were the waves today? - answerIt was a perfect day for
surfing. You couldn't ask for better waves!
RANGER: Great! Hey! How did it go today with your friend that you have been teaching
how to surf? Did you try to tell your friend what she was doing wrong, so she could get
better? - answerYou'll never believe it! I took your advice to not be afraid and I decided
to tell Cali the things she was doing wrong. I showed her how to stand and held the
board for her while she practiced getting up and down on it. She really started to get the
hang of balancing and shifting her weight.
RANGER: And did Cali get mad at you for telling her what she was going wrong? -
answerNo! Well, at first she didn't like being corrected. But once she started to feel
comfortable on her board, she was asking me for pointers to keep getting better.
RANGER: That's awesome! - answerWe kept working together, and then she actually
caught her first wave and rode it all the way in! She was so stoked!
RANGER: I bet you were proud of Cali! - answerI was! And she was proud of herself,
too! She actually thanked me for helping her. She said if I hadn't pointed out what she
was doing wrong and helped her learn to do it correctly, she probably would have never
been able to do it.
RANGER: Nice work! It takes courage to speak the truth, but when it's done with love it
can really make a big difference. You were a good friend to Cali. I'm proud of you! -
answerNow look who's speaking the truth!
