Abstract
In this paper, the different components within an organization’s value chain are compared to
identify how they differ in meaning. Rainbow Chicken’s value chain, supply chain and value-
added products are closely analyzed in order to identify where the greatest value lies within
the organization, how value for the customer can be maximized and where costs can be
minimized.
