Exploring the Personal Dimensions of Morality, Values, Politics, and Religion

, Introduction
Morality, human values, politics, and religion are the super-deep human personality traits
that have to do a lot with individual beliefs and motivation (McAdams & Dunlop, 2019).
Although these dimensions are affected by societal norms and expectations, they appear to relate
much more to individuals as actors with a will, as opposed to social beings. In this essay, I will
be explaining the individual aspects of morality, principles, politics and religion, with examples
from my own life.
Morality as an Aggressive Mean.
Morality is a group of rules that control how people act and decide on things. Being
moral is something very significant and firm to me since it comes from what I personally believe
and values. I could illustrate this through an instance where I opted to do voluntary work at a
local shelter for the homeless despite societal norms that push people to seek personal benefits.
This decision was pulled by my own conviction of the meaningfulness of facilitating those that
are in need and illustrated how morality can directly the individual to behave according to their
personal values (McAdams & Dunlop, 2019).
Values as agency basis.
Values being the principles of existence constitute the bedrock on which behavior and
decision-making are based. My values of truthfulness and kindness act as my compass while
socializing with people. For illustration, I always try my best to deal with people honestly, even
when it may be more convenient to say nothing. In the same way, this loyalty points out that
