A player throws the ball through the basket from below. Correct Ans-If a player causes the
entire ball to pass through the basket from below, it is a violation.
The ball touches a player's leg. Correct Ans-To accidentally come into contact with or touch
the ball with any part of the leg is not a violation.
A team with possession commits a foul. Where is the ball taken from? Correct Ans-The
subsequent throw-in shall be administered at the place nearest to the infraction.
A FG or final FT is waived off. Where is the ball taken from? Correct Ans-The subsequent
throw-in shall be administered at the free-throw line extended.
After a made basket or final/only FT how may the inbounder move? Correct Ans-The player
taking the throw-in may move laterally and/or backwards and the ball may be passed between
team-mates behind the endline, but the 5 second count starts when the ball is at the disposal of
the first player out-of-bounds.
A time-out opportunity begins when... Correct Ans-- For both teams, the ball becomes dead,
the game clock is stopped and the official has ended his communication with the scorer's table.
- For both teams, the ball becomes dead following a successful last or only free throw.
