Sarah's Law - Answers✔Allows people to ask police if a person who has access to a certain child
has convictions for child sex offences.
Sarah's Law has gained support from Tabloid newspapers, publishing names and pictures of 50
people it claimed had committed child sex offences and wanted to carry on until all the
pedophiles were 'named and shamed', increasing the profile of Sarah's Law.
The campaign's success can be seen from there implementation of the Child Sex Offender
Disclosure Scheme, meaning that there doesn't have to be a suspicion in order to check if a
person does have a child sex offence
