Successful student-led classrooms depend on both students and teachers acting
appropriately and doing their assigned tasks. For example, instructors are meant to mentor rather
than dictate to their charges. In that scenario, educators have a duty to make sure that pupils
adhere to the rules and to gently reprimand them when they make mistakes. Teachers should also
listen to their pupils and be patient with them rather than passing judgment on them. The best
course of action is to correct them and make sure they achieve the required advancements in their
education. As a result, students will feel more valued, in charge of their education, and in control
of their learning. In order to foster improvement, educators have to offer constructive and
beneficial feedback to their pupils (Tullis & Goldstone, 2020). It means giving kids constructive
feedback rather than pointing out their flaws and demeaning them. To promote improvement,
feedback ought to be given at each stage of the learning process. Put another way, educators need
to keep an eye on students' development during the whole learning process.
However, students must to be accountable for both their individual assignments and
collaborative projects. Since their involvement and contribution are so important to the group
work, accountability is necessary. They should also collaborate in group projects and
conversations to improve collaboration and finish given assignments. Respect should be shown
for one another, especially when it comes to the many viewpoints and thoughts that their peers
may put forward. In order to make sure that students follow directions included in the course
materials and rubrics, obedience is also essential. By the conclusion of the learning process, this
will encourage higher scores and better results (Tullis & Goldstone, 2020).
In order for the student-led method to be successful, teachers and students need to
continue to have great interpersonal skills and communication practices. Teachers should so urge
