1. What is a Junior Operator?
Answer Any person who applies pesticides or assists in the application of pesticides
commercially in Connecticut (in other than a supervisory capacity)
2. What is a Certified Supervisor?
Answer An individual who can run a company that applies pesticides
commercially.
3. What does a Junior Operator need to apply pesticide?
Answer The Certified Super- visor to be present on site during pesticide application
or provide specific written instructions to the certified operator.
4. What if a treatment is required/requested that is NOT included in the written
instructions?
Answer The operator must NOT perform that treatment until he has obtained written

instructions pertaining to the new application.
5. How old does a Junior Operator have to be?
Answer 18
6. How long before you can retest? (If you fail)
Answer A minimum of 30 days before you can take the examination again.
7. When do you have to renew your license?
Answer Prior to the expiration date.

Answer Pesticide Management Program
9. How long do you have to notify the PMP of any changes to your address?-
