in Lebanon endanger the entire world order, which is completely unacceptable, Egyptian
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi stated at an emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh.


"Let us make this clear: the Middle East and the entire world are now at a critical juncture in
their history. - answers✔✔The [Israeli] aggression in the Palestinian territories and in
Lebanon is unacceptable; it endangers the entire existing world order," the Egyptian leader
emphasized, as reported by his office.


Egypt "will block all attempts to address the Palestinian issue by forcibly displacing civilians
or turning Gaza into an uninhabitable zone," El-Sisi said, - answers✔✔adding that "regional
peace and progress are only possible with the establishment of an independent Palestinian
state based on the 1967 borders."


Referring to the situation in Lebanon, el-Sisi reiterated Cairo's support for Lebanese state
institutions, - answers✔✔as well as the country's military, and called for the immediate
implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.
