contact, proximity, or delayed detonation.
What is a flechette?
Warhead used against light-armored targets and personnel. Contains a large
number of small arrow-shaped projectiles.
How are warhead fuzes primed?
Use the setback forces encountered during weapons acceleration to accomplish
arming.
What are Impact Firing fuzes?
,Rocket fuzes the make up the majority of rockets in service. The firing train is
initiated through crushing or distortion of the fuze structure or due to
deceleration occurring during impact.

What is Point Detonating?
Installed in the nose of the warhead, fuzes detonate instantaneously on impact.
What is Base Detonating?
Fuzes are located in the base of the warhead and detonate on impact after a
