instructions provided in a separate document. The assignments consist of one or more text questions
from different chapters. Late assignment submission will not be allowed. Each assignment offers you a
unique opportunity to test not only your understanding of the course material, but also your ability to
analyze and solve problems. An important aspect of problem solving is the necessity of selecting an
answer in the face of uncertainty about the facts or requirements in the problem. To help you develop

quizzes is 10 multiple choice questions to be completed in 30 minutes. On-Line quizzes are available at

attempt the quiz, so please ensure you are ready as the clock will count down once you open the online

necessarily provided), are used to develop judgmental competence through the analysis of complex
issues in a somewhat realistic environment. The technical aspect of such issues often can be solved only
after you have addressed and solved the judgmental aspects of the case. The case analysis must be
submitted as follows:
1. Each case should be typed, double-spaced on letter-size paper using one-inch margins.
2. Maximum length for each case is either 6 pages or 1,200 words, exclusive of tables, appendices
(4 page max) and references and 12-point Arial font or equivalent. Tables must be in a word format.
