Drug Action (how does it work?):
➔ Works by altering electrical activity in the brain and influencing the activity of
chemicals called neurotransmitters, which send messages between nerve cells
Uses:
➔ To treat epilepsy
➔ It's also taken for nerve pain. Nerve pain can be caused by different illnesses,
including diabetes and shingles, or it can happen after an injury.
