Question/hypothesis for the study


I will be researching sexual harassment. My hypothesis is that people in Carshalton
College have experienced sexual harassment in the past. I also believe that women
experienced more sexual harassment than men.




Research aim


The aim of my study is to find out if people in Carshalton College do in fact experience
sexual harassment. Also, if women experience more sexual harassment than men. The
question I will be focusing on is ‘is there a significant relationship between gender and
sexual harassment?’.




Research Objectives

1. To carry out questionnaire and interview research with 20 students aged 16-19 at
Carshalton College



2. To carry out a questionnaire and interview research with both male and female
students at Carshalton College



3. To use NHS website as a secondary source to investigate statistics on sexual
harassment for people aged 16-19
